haha okay. so this is for family reunions, also, excuse my randomness for the mickey mouse. && also AGAIN, don't you think Kendall Jenner looks a bit like Taylor Lautner in that pic up there?? ;)

i hate the trip there, usually we rent a huge car && pack it w/ unnecessary stuff then we drive to some unknown city in the middle of the desert.
 
- make it FUN♥ ;D yes, i said fun.. sing songs, play games, don't fight, && bring some games. if you have an ipod, itouch, computer, cell, DS, board games, card games, etc. bring it && play it w/ your family members.
 
- [the loner child] lol jk i think the only child has it best. you're not stressed about fights you had w/ some little brother. well the only thing is you can't play games w/ your siblings. so now it's up to you && your parents. if your parents will play w/ you then YAYYY♥ but if not, then text your friends, play w/ electronics [computer, ipod, etc] or you can draw or read a book.

[ n o t e ] if you feel sick reading a book, look out the window. my mum told me that you feel sick because when you read you don't notice you're moving so when you do you're CARSiCK.. dun dun dun. lol. so by looking out the window, you're noticing that HEY! we're moving! ♥ (:

the [REST STOPS] ♥;;
okay so you have to take rest stops if you're going a long way. mostly people might take airplanes but i know that my dad loves "road trips" so we take the car.
 
- hotel. finally. okay so you spend the night at a hotel or motel or maybe your car if you have an RV.
 
- gas stations. you have to stop for gas. when you do, EVERYONE MUST GO to the john. [restroom if you don't know what john is] seriously, your parents will be pis.sedd if they find out you have to go right when they're leaving.
 
- resturaunts. i hate this. we're like the only people in the resturaunt because its 8pm && we're all tired && worn out. ask ahead of time to see when you 'll arrive at the resturaunt. then, change out of your pjs or something && brush your hair && chew some gum. you'll be fine (;
 
when you [ARRiVE] ♥;;
ohmygosh i hate this. all the old people who give presents for christmas are there screaming. you grew! you're not little anymore! no dip aunt carol. i haven't seen you since i was 6!
 
- just smile && chat nicely. talk about your dog, your friends, your room, your schoool, etc but don't talk about boyfriends, inappropriate stuff && of course, DO NOT CUSS!
 
- if you get pretty annoyed by all this hugging && chatting, say you have to go to the restroom or you have homework to do or something.

sorry for my randomness. ANYWAYS- how to save money. everyone thinks thats so easy or they think they don't have to & they'll just ask their parents. well this is really helpful for when you GROW UP & live alone. or right now. haha.
 
O1. buy a safe or a piggy bank ♥
this is so simple. i went to target & bought a pink & white dotted piggy bank. whenever i get change back from shopping i put it in my piggy bank. so i only have dollar bills in my purse, not coins. piggy banks are also fun to decorate. i'll make a tip on that later!
 
O2. FiVE QUESTiONS ♥
when you're out shopping, think about the item you're getting & ask these 5 questions ♥ ;;
- do i need it?
- do i have other clothes that will look cute w/ it?
- do i have clothes that already look like this?
- is it the right fit?
- do i have enough money?
 
O3. friends & splurging ♥
usually it's when you're with your friends that you spend too much money because you want to show them that it's okay for you to spend money on silly stuff. you don't need to do that. i feel like that too sometimes & when i''m w/ my friends i spend way more money then usual & when i get home i'm like.. why did i buy this? when this happens, just return it. if it's a sale item, then you shouldn't have bought it in the first place! you always need to ask yourself the 5 questions.
 
O4. use coupons ♥
i know i know. "i'm not using coupons! only old people do that." uhm, excuse me but i use coupons & i'm not old. every sunday morning in the paper, there should be ads for stores near you. there are usually coupons that say " 2O% off " well tear that out & save it in your wallet! when i find a store i go to a lot that has a coupon, i take it. then when i'm going to the store, it might be like this;; i find a $3O dress. i want it. it's labor day sale so it's 5O% off . now it's $15. then i have a coupon for 2O% off. now it's $12. so i saved a lot of money! so use coupons (:
 
O5. SHARiNG is CARiNG ♥
so i have a sister who's a year younger than me & we're almost the same size. we have kind of the same style too. so if i find a cute top that i like & she likes. instead of buying two separate ones that cost the same & is the same size, we buy it together. lets say that top was $15. i pay $7.5O + tax & she pays $7.5O. it's a great idea. same w/ your friend. i had a friend who wanted to buy the chi & i did too so we bought it together & used an ULTA coupon. i only had to pay like $4O & since we live near eachother i just take turns.
 
O6. be CRAFTYY♥
so i LOVE crafts. remember i told you about my piggy bank? well, if you don't want to spend $12 on a piggy bank, you can go to a craft store & buy a mini simple piggy bank for like $5. then decorate it w/ paint, stickers, glitter, ribbons, etc.
 
O7. go to the right stores ♥
i know most teens are thinking about brand name stuff & i have some of them too. i'm not saying you shouldn't splurge once in a while, but i'm saying NOT too splurge every single day. instead of getting a cami at abercrombie for $2O, go to aero or target & get a cami for $8. it's the same thing but it just depends on the brand. & anyway, abercrombie has cheap material sometimes. same w/ jeans. i have a ton of jeans from abercrombie & KIDS because it's actually cheaper & i can fit in it. most of us are 13-17 years old so you guys might fit in the 12, 14, & 16 size they have at ABERCROMBIE KIDS. abercrombie & fitch is actually way more expensive. AK has $2O-3O jeans, A&F has $5O-8O jeans.
 
O8. be a vintage trendsetter ♥
most people nowadays go to vintage stores & stores like the ATTiC to get clothes. cool jewelry, scarves, tops, etc are there for way bargain deals. those stores would probably never go over $3O unless it's just to die for. so look around one of those stores w/ your friends & find some cute thrifts (:
 
O9. save on important stuff ♥
i know sometimes you want to buy a mocha or a new notebook but those stuff can wait. i usually spend my money on crap that are finished that day. so now, i'm buying WATER & i'm letting my parents buy my school supplies. i buy my clothes & room decor & other stuff with my own money & i don't buy crap that'll be done soon.
 
1O. shop on SALES ♥
black friday, labor day, christmas, halloween, 5O% off, BOGO, etc. those are the times you go & buy something. i always let my parents do the buying on black friday because i freak out when there's a ton of people at the mall. kay, so when you're at american eagle, usually there's a clearance section in the back, well go to it! i never buy the stuff in the front of the store because it's more expensive +& everyone else will probably get it. so now i'm in the back of the store getting cheaper & unique outfits.

so i know this is not a tip set but i decided i'm gonna make some of these real sets sometimes. i know this is a template though, i saw it && i was like, ohmygosh. cute. so i had to do it (: i do have another account on polyvore just for sets.

so i have tons of fabric laying around in my house because of unfinished projects or just clothes that are too small on me & i don't think anybody else wants. (grandma sweater)
 
here's a list ;;
* hair bows // hair scarf
* scarf
* pillows
* stuffed animals
* hankerchief
* blankets
* curtains
* bracelets
 
hopefully most of you know how to sew or have a sewing machine & know how to work it. if you don't, just ask your mom or grandma to teach you (:
 
FLOWER ;;
you can turn it into a pin to put on your bag or a hair accessory (:
 
you need -
* fabric
* fabric stiffener
* hot glue gun
* scissors
 
directions -
* cut out circles in various sizes on the fabric
* apply fabric stiffener to the circles so it stiffens && let it dry.
* cut a slit midway to each circle
* overlap the two cut edges, creating a cone shape && hot glue together
* layer cone shapes, large to small && glue in place
 
PiLLOW ;;
i made one && it's AWESOME (: it's super cute && very easy to make.
 
you need -
* 21x32 inch fabric
* needle && thread
* sewing machine
 
directions -
* fold fabric piece in half lengthwise, w/ the finished side of the fabric inside.now you have a long piece of folded fabric
* sew fabric together along long side && on one of the short ends.turn the pillowcase so the right side is now facing out.
* use a zigzag or serge stitch around the entire open end of the fabric to stop the edges from fraying. make sure not to sew the top of the pillowcase closed.
* make a 1/2 inch hem on the open side of the pillowcase, by folding the fabric down toward the inside of the pillowcase. iron the hem flat and sew a straight stitch to keep the hem in place.
* pin a 4 inch hem that you folded down toward the inside of the pillowcase. sew around the bottom edge of the pillowcase, using a straight stitch.
* decorate w/ lace or sequins or ribbons (:
 
SCARF ;;
this is so easy you'll laugh
 
you need -
* fabric
* scissors
* needle & thread
 
directions -
* lay your fabric down flat so it's like a long rectangle. make fold it hot dog style. make sure it is long enough to go around your neck & both ends reach your belly button
* while it's in hot dog fold, stitch the edges together.
* on the very bottom of the fabric, you can make it frayed & just cut the bottom w/ scissors
* decorate it. you can tie-dye or pin it the way you want.

this is just a list, so it's not that great.
 
* PETALS // LEAVES - so just get some leaves && flower petals from a boquet of flowers from micheals or something. don't use real flowers or it'll dry up & get ugly.
 
* RiBBONS - find some cute animal print ribbons, burgundy, yellow, maroon, fuschia, etc colors && decorate your room w/ them.
ex;; just for decoration, tie the ribbons around your pillows that are in the front of the bed && take them off when you sleep on it.
ex;; also, you can tie them around jars && boxes for cute decor.
 
* BLANKETS - get nice soft blankets from your attic or your grandmas. well, actually i guess they're quilts. but anyway, fold it nicely & put it at the edge of your bed. or if you don't like the patterns of the quilts, you can find fall colored blankets at target.
 
* WALL BUTTERFLiES - on thick paper, cut out butterflies & hang them in your room like a chandelier, OR just stick them on your wall like they're floating up.
 
* CANDLES - at bath&bodyworks, you can get great candles that smell like autumn ;D so put them on your sidetables or something.
 
* GUiTAR - i play the guitar so i like putting my guitar in my room during the fall && playing songs. haha. so if you have a guitar it's great decoration && very fun to play (:
 
* SNOW - find fake snow && pile it around your room randomly. it'll look so cool && it looks just like your room got snowed in (; but i guess in a good way? haha.
 
*NUTS - credit to @tipshelpforgirls for this idea. i think this is an amazing idea! okay so find some acorns, chesnuts, any type of "fall" nuts & you can clean them & put it in your room. my sister put hers in a jar & then put it tin her room. (:
